From a young age I’ve had a passion for baking, even working at a caramel apple and belgian chocolate shop in high school. It was there where I saw firsthand the joy that confectionery brings to people. Because of this, in college I made the decision to build my career in the food industry, specifically baking. I got my degree in engineering, started working for a candy company, and in 2022 built The Thirsty Baker out of my kitchen!

 

The Thirsty Baker is a woman-owned small business located in Jersey City, New Jersey making small batch homemade gourmet brownies.

 

Throughout my life I’ve craved a strong sense of community, and I know that nothing brings people together like good food, good drink, and good conversation. The Thirsty Baker started out as brownies made in my apartment, and will eventually grow into a physical storefront that combines all of these things - indulgent desserts, well-crafted cocktails, and gatherings and events that reflect the community.

 

The Thirsty Baker represents a comfortable and safe place for people to come together over delicious desserts and drinks.​
